The Indiana Department of Transportation announced lane and ramp closures for I-69 in Vanderburgh County.

Beginning on or around Tuesday, September 3rd, crews will begin alternating lane closures on I-69 in Evansville. These lane closures will occur between Pollack Avenue and Green River Road.

Alternating lane closures will allow for pavement repairs, pipe installation, and light ditch grading. These lane restrictions are expected to last through the end of September, depending on the weather.

As part of this project, beginning on or around Monday, September 9th, crews will close the southbound Green River Road on-ramp to I-69. This closure is to allow for pavement repairs. This closure is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather. The detour for the ramp closure is Green River Road to northbound I-69 to State Road 662 to southbound I-69.

Lane and ramp closures are part of the larger project to improve the driving surface of I-69 in Vanderburgh County.
