On August 27th, 2024, multiple officers from around the tri-state area visited the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office to participate in the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s (FLETC) Basic Tactical Medical Instructor Training course. 

This two-day course is a highly intense training program that subjects the students to lectures, labs, and skill practices designed to give them the knowledge and skills necessary to help prevent the loss of their life or the lives of another while in a traumatic event.
