Early Saturday morning, August 10th, Trooper Jon Villanueva was working the Dubois County area and responded to a single-vehicle crash on Van Buren Street in Huntingburg. When Trooper Villanueva arrived, the driver of the vehicle, Juan Aleman, was being extricated from the vehicle. Once removed from the vehicle, Trooper Villanueva assisted EMS with the treatment of Aleman. Aleman showed visible signs of impairment while speaking with Trooper Villanueva. Aleman was transported by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital for a chemical test and medical clearance. Aleman was arrested and transported to the Dubois County jail.

Operating a Vehicle W/O Ever Receiving a License – Class C Misdemeanor

Arresting Officer – Trooper Jon Villanueva

Assisting Agency – Huntingburg Police Department and Huntingburg Fire Department
