On Sunday morning, August 4th, Trooper Beau Brumett was patrolling State Road 57 IN Daviess County near Plainfield when he observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Trooper Brumett activated his emergency lights and conducted a traffic stop.

Upon approaching the vehicle, Trooper Brumett spoke with the driver, identified as Hunter Thurston, 28, of Shelburn, IN. Thurston displayed visible signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested and transported to the Daviess County Jail for a chemical test. He is currently being held on bond.
