On Saturday afternoon, August 24th, Trooper Adam McBeth was working on State Road 161 near Holland. Trooper McBeth observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on State Road 161. Trooper McBeth activated his emergency lights and made a traffic stop. Trooper McBeth spoke to the driver, Darrell Russell. Russell showed visible signs of impairment. Russell was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital for a chemical test. Russell was arrested and transported to the Dubois County jail where he is being held on bond.

OVWI (Minor Under 18 Y/O Inside Vehicle) – Level 6 Felony

Driving While Suspended Prior – Class A Misdemeanor

Arresting Officer – Trooper Adam McBeth

Assisting Agency – Dubois County Sheriff’s Office
