The Buffalo Trace Festival is set to return to Petersburg, Indiana, from October 10-12, 2024, promising a packed schedule of music, rides, food, vendors, and fun for all ages. Hosted by Discover Downtown Petersburg, the three-day event will feature a variety of entertainment, including live performances from artists such as Brandon Davis, Michael Ray, and Avery Anna.

Festivities kick off on Thursday, October 10, at 4:30 p.m. with vendors opening, followed by carnival rides at 5:00 p.m. The festival’s parade will start at 5:30 p.m., leading into a Buffalo Trace Corn Hole Tournament and the Festival Opening Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. Music lovers can enjoy local talent performances from Kodee Miller and Carter McCain, Jayla Harris & Company, and the Pike Central High School Swing Choir.

On Friday, October 11, the action continues with more vendors, carnival rides, and live music. Jake Foster will perform from 5:00-6:00 p.m., followed by the band Eighty-Sixt from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Country artist Brandon Davis will take the stage from 8:30-10:00 p.m., followed by an after-party at Mi Patio.

The final day, Saturday, October 12, begins with a 5K run/walk at 8:30 a.m. and various pageants, including Little Miss and Junior Miss Buffalo Trace. Special appearances include local news personality Ron Rhodes from WEHT, and the day’s musical performances will feature Conner Loveless, Avery Anna, and a headlining show from Michael Ray at 8:30 p.m. The festival concludes with another Mi Patio after-party.
