The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office has introduced Avery Henke as the newest Jail Officer. Avery has long aspired to become a Sheriff Deputy, and this role marks an important step toward achieving her career goals. Her previous experience as a lifeguard has helped prepare her for the challenges of her new position, equipping her with the ability to stay calm under pressure and handle intense situations.

Avery is eager to continue learning about the different departments within the Sheriff’s Office, gaining valuable insight that will benefit her when the opportunity to become a Sheriff’s Deputy arises. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and playing golf with her family.
