Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales is inviting young Hoosiers to participate in the I Voted Sticker Contest, offering students an exciting way to get involved in the election process. This contest aims to inspire creativity and civic responsibility by challenging students to design “I Voted” stickers, which will be handed out to voters at polling locations in November.

The contest is open to all Indiana students. To participate, students must agree to the official rules and submit their designs by email (sticker@sos.in.gov) or by mailing a printed entry form. The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2024.

I Voted Sticker Competition
200 W. Washington Street, Room 201
Indianapolis, IN 46204

A panel of judges, including Secretary Morales’ wife—an artist and advocate for youth engagement—will review the submissions. The competition is divided into three groups: Kindergarten to 3rd Grade, 4th to 8th Grade, and 9th to 12th Grade.

“The ‘I Voted’ sticker symbolizes pride and participation in the election process. By inviting children to design stickers, we are encouraging creativity and fostering an early understanding of civic engagement,” said Morales. “I encourage parents and teachers to spread the word about the contest. I’m excited to see the unique designs our young Hoosiers create!”

The 1st Place winning designs from each grade level will be distributed to voters on Election Day, November 5, and winners will have the opportunity to meet Secretary Morales at the Statehouse. Second and third place winners will receive social media recognition and be featured on the Indiana Secretary of State’s website. All winners will receive a certificate of recognition.
