The Dubois County Advocacy for Recovery & Prevention Council (DCARC) has announced its first annual Live to Rise: Fun Run for Recovery is to be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM EST; and the “Run” officially beginning at 11 AM.

The Live to Rise: Fun Run for Recovery is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages to enjoy and participate in. Whether attendees choose to run or walk the route, everyone is welcome to join in the fun. All registrants will receive a participation medal to commemorate their involvement in this meaningful event.

This event is a celebration of recovery and a powerful opportunity to unite individuals in recovery with the larger community, including law enforcement and those who work within our county’s legal system, and a goal to raise awareness, promote unity, and encourage prosocial activity as we come together to support one another.

Participants who register by September 6th will receive an official event t-shirt. Registration forms are available on their Facebook page, facebook.com/duboiscountyARC/, or can be completed online at RunSignup.com.
