Ernie Lee Copley, 74 of Stendal, IN was called home on September 14, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born September 26, 1949 in Williamson, WV to parents, Luther and Myrtle (Blackburn) Copley.

He is survived by daughters, Jenny Lynn Copley of English, IN, Sarah Frasure (Floyd) of Stendal, IN; Godsons, Jesse Fultz and Charles Fultz (Christina), and 5 Grandchildren.

Visitation for Ernie Copley will be at Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Thursday, September 19, 2024, and 1 hour before service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, at the funeral home. Military Graveside Service will follow at Cup Creek General Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is grateful for the outpouring of love from many family, friends and Coworkers. To the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church community for the constant prayers and continued support. To the teams at the Chancellor Cancer Center, Deaconess Pain Management and Heart 2 Heart Hospice for giving 110% at every stage along the way.

A very special thank you to the amazing staff of the Post Surgical Unit of Memorial Hospital who went far above and beyond with their love, compassion, kindness and care.
