The Jasper Street Department, in collaboration with contractor Pavement Solutions, will start a pavement preservation and Micro Surface project on Monday, September 16, beginning at 8:00 AM.

Residents are reminded to remove all vehicles from the affected streets and driveways if they plan to leave during the day. Streets undergoing the preservation process will be closed to all traffic during the work but are expected to reopen each evening, depending on drying conditions.

Residents will be notified the day before their street is processed via door hangers. Due to varying drying conditions and traffic flow, there will be frequent switching between streets throughout the project.

Streets affected by the project include:

  • St. Charles Street (Truman to 2nd)
  • St. Charles Street (2nd to 6th)
  • Place Road (1st Ave. to 4th Ave.)
  • Hill Court (all)
  • Cohere Ave (all)
  • College Ave. (3rd Ave. to CTIM Building)

The project will proceed daily until completion, weather permitting or unless unforeseen issues arise.
