The Vincennes University Jasper (VUJ) Foundation is offering the Scholastic Excellence Award, a prestigious one-year, full-ride scholarship available to local high school graduates. This scholarship is designed for students who have achieved a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher. Recipients must enroll as full-time students at the Jasper campus during the Fall and Spring semesters.

The scholarship package includes:

  • Full tuition coverage for up to 15 credits per semester and regularly assessed fees for one year at the Jasper Campus.
  • A VUJ bookstore voucher valued at up to $500 per semester (Fall and Spring) for required course materials.
  • A laptop computer.

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduate from an Indiana high school located in Dubois, Crawford, Orange, Perry, Harrison, Martin, or Spencer County during the 2025-2026 academic year, with an academic or technical honors diploma.
  • Attain a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • Apply for admission to VU Jasper by January 15, 2025.
  • Be accepted into the University by the priority deadline of March 1, 2025.
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 15, 2025.
  • Qualify for in-state tuition rates.

To maintain the scholarship, recipients must:

  • Achieve a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher while attending VUJ.
  • Remain a full-time, degree-seeking student on the Jasper Campus during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.
  • Participate in 10 internship or clinical hours each semester during the 2025-2026 academic year.

This competitive scholarship offers limited awards, and all other scholarships and grants, excluding loans, will be applied to the recipient’s account prior to the disbursement of this scholarship.
