Bands from all-around Indiana traveled to Franklin Central High School this past Saturday, to compete in the ISSMA Scholastic Class Finals. Similar to high school sports, the class that each band designated into is determined by school size, and other metric factors.

Competing this weekend, locally, was the Heritage Hills Marching Patriots, Pike Central Charger Brigade, and the Northeast Dubois Marching Jeeps, all in the Scholastic Class B competition.

Taking home 1st place in the ISSMA Scholastic Class B State Championship, was the Heritage Hills Marching Patriots, with their 2024 season show: Siren’s Song.

Not only is this accomplishment a major victory for the small band, made up of about 50+ students, but the 2024 Marching Patriots just won the first-ever Marching Band State Championship in school history for Heritage Hills High School.
