The Ferdinand Senior Citizens Center will host a special “Mom & Son Night Out” on March 14, 2025, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The evening promises a fun-filled bonding experience for mothers and their sons, with engaging activities centered around the excitement of basketball season.

Participants will have the chance to build their own tabletop basketball game, with all supplies provided. The event also features a photo booth, snacks, and beverages. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite sports gear to get into the spirit of March Madness. The event is recommended for boys ages 5 to 12, with only 20 family spots available. A waitlist option is also offered.

Framing Ferdinand, the community-driven organization responsible for this event, plays a key role in fostering activities and economic growth in the town. As Ferdinand’s Indiana Main Street Accreditation program, the group focuses on supporting the local community through events and projects designed to bring people together.

Registration for “Mom & Son Night Out” requires a $20 fee per couple, with an additional $5 fee for each additional son. Payment is due during registration and is non-refundable. Families interested in participating can register online or scan the provided QR code to secure their spot.

Organizers encourage families to sign up early to avoid missing out on this memorable opportunity.
