The Dubois County Republican Central Committee met on Saturday, March 1, 2025 to elect officers for the 2025-2029 period. The reorganization of the party with the election of its officers occurs every four years.

County Clerk Amy Kippenbrock was elected as Party Chairman. Other committee elections included State Senator Daryl Schmitt as Vice-Chairman, Bridgette Bartley as Secretary, and County Councilmember Sonya Haas as Treasurer. All officer elections were unanimous. Chairman Kippenbrock took the GOP reins after her election and conducted the business meeting.

The county reorganization meeting begins the reorganizational process within the Indiana Republican Party, spanning from the local to the national level. County chairs and vice-chairs from the 19 counties in the 8th Congressional District will meet on Saturday, March 8 to elect district officers. The District chairs and vice-chairs from Indiana’s nine Congressional districts will meet in Indianapolis in March to elect State Party Officers. National Party officers will be elected next month.

The Dubois County Republican Party is a voluntary association of like-minded individuals. To be eligible to be a precinct committee member, or as an officer at any level of the party, a registered voter must have voted in two of the most recent Republican Primaries and be a person in good standing with the party.
