The Warrick Humane Society is preparing to host its “Mutts at Myriad” Chili Cookoff later this month. The event will take place on Sunday, March 16th from 12-3 PM at Myriad Brewing Company in Newburgh.

Aspiring chili chefs can enter the competition for $10 in advance or $20 on the day of the event. The first-place winner will receive a trophy and $100 in gift cards, while second and third place finishers will also be awarded trophies.

Attendees can sample all competing chili entries and vote for their favorite for just $5. Tasting and voting will run from noon until 2 PM, with the winner scheduled to be announced at 2:30 PM.

The event will also feature vegetarian chili options and gourmet PB&J for those with different dietary preferences. After the voting concludes at 2 PM, full bowls of chili will be available for purchase.
