A groundbreaking ceremony has been scheduled for Poplar Ridge Apartments, a new multi-family housing development planned for Huntingburg. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 30, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2050 North Lincoln Drive.
Premier Property Management, in partnership with Kerstiens Realty, is overseeing the project. Poplar Ridge Apartments is designed to add modern residential options to meet the growing housing needs in the Huntingburg area. According to planning documents, the development will include multiple buildings with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, along with onsite parking and landscaped areas.
Huntingburg city officials have previously cited the demand for workforce and market-rate housing as a major priority for economic growth and community retention. Poplar Ridge is among several recent projects aimed at addressing those needs, along with nearby developments supported by Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI) funds and local incentives.
