Girls on the Run of Southwest Indiana is now accepting applications for a stipend-based position to help coordinate its Spring 2026 5K event in Dubois County. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026.

The organization is looking for a 5K Coordinator to assist with the planning and execution of the community race. Responsibilities will include coordinating event logistics, managing volunteers, working with vendors and community partners, and ensuring a safe and positive experience for participants.

Applicants should possess strong organizational and communication skills and feel comfortable working with youth and a range of community members. The role requires availability on the day of the event, as well as during some planning days leading up to it. A background check is also required.

Girls on the Run is a nonprofit that delivers programming to empower girls through physical activity and life skills development. The Dubois County 5K is a culminating event for the participants each season and typically draws strong community involvement.
