On August 2nd, the Jasper RC Flyers held their much-anticipated 2025 Annual Fun-Fly, welcoming 24 registered pilots from nearby cities including Evansville, Owensboro, Henderson, Corydon, Starlight, and Washington. Alongside the pilots, numerous spectators gathered to enjoy a day filled with exciting radio control aircraft activities, community spirit, and family-friendly fun.
One highlight of the event was the hugely successful Candy Drop, which brought smiles to many children as candy rained down from the skies. This year featured an expanded cargo bay in the Candy Drop plane, allowing even more treats to be shared with attendees. Pilots showcased their skills through various fun-fly maneuvers, while casual flying and demonstrations filled the day with energy and enthusiasm.
Jasper RC Flyers is a laid-back club that values safety, fun, and community above all. The event embodied these values, fostering an atmosphere where hobbyists of all skill levels felt welcome and connected.
