Hindostan Falls in Martin County will come alive on Saturday, October 4, for the annual Hindostan Days festival, offering a full day of history, entertainment, and community fun. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and invites visitors to explore the rich heritage of the area while enjoying the natural beauty of the falls.
A cornhole tournament kicks off the morning, with onsite registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. and games starting at 10 a.m. The blind draw contest is open to all for $10 per person. Live music will keep the celebration moving throughout the day, featuring performances by Garrett McConnell, Zephyr Van Moor, Unashamed, and Garry Walls.
Festival-goers can browse booths showcasing local artists and young entrepreneurs, savor great food, and take part in kids’ games, pony rides, and historical presentations, including a mountain man encampment.
Organizers remind attendees that the venue is fully outdoors with grassy, uneven walkways, no running water, and limited cell service. Visitors are encouraged to bring water, mobility aids if needed, and cash for food and art vendors.
