Heritage Hills FFA members earned top honors in recent area competitions and will advance to the State Contest on December 13.

Megan Steinmetz placed first in the Area Crops Career Development Event, securing her spot at the state competition.

In the Senior Forestry division, the Heritage Hills team of Riley Steinmetz, Connor Sitzman, Carsten King, and Jackson Smith also took first place as a group, qualifying all four members for the December 13 state event.

Individual forestry results included a third-place finish for Riley Steinmetz, sixth for Carsten King, and ninth for Connor Sitzman.

The chapter’s advisors say the results reflect a strong showing for the Patriots as they move on to compete at the state level next month.
