The Perry Central Community School Corporation was recognized last night at the Indiana Department of Education Awards Gala, earning the 2025 Hoosier Educational Excellence Award.

The district received a $50,000 award for its student-focused approach to preparing learners for the future, including work in literacy, STEM, and college and career readiness.

School leaders said the honor reflects the combined efforts of staff, students, and the wider Perry Central community.
