The Rockport Police Department is reaching out to local residents and businesses as it prepares for a silent auction benefiting the city’s K-9 program.
The fundraiser is scheduled for December 6, 2025, and proceeds will support the continued operation of the department’s K-9 unit, which provides additional safety and protection for Rockport and the surrounding area.
Police are seeking donations such as gift certificates, products, or services from community businesses to include in the auction. Donors will be recognized during the event.
Anyone interested in contributing is asked to contact the department by December 1, 2025, at 812-649-2242, extension 1, or by emailing utilities@rockport.in.gov to arrange donation details or pickup.
