Purdue University is offering a short course providing knowledge and resources to help landowners make infored decisions in the care and management of their forests.

This is the Forest Management for the Private Woodland Owner course and workshop. It will run eight Monday evenings, January 26th to March 16th at the Southern Indiana Purdue Agricultural Center located on the north side of Patoka Lake, near the dam entrance. The class size is 40 registrants on a first come, first-serve basis.

Registration includes forestry specialists, thumb drive of all publications, tree measuring stick, course materials, and snacks all for $50. Couples or family registration (first person at regular rate of $50 with one set of materials provided) is $30.
