The Dubois Branch Library has announced the list of events they will be holding in March 2026.

  • Read a Book Bingo throughout the month of March – In celebration of Read Across America Week, Reading Month, and March into Literacy Month, read a variety of books to complete a Bingo and earn a prize!
  • March 2 through March 17 – Find Lucky the Leprechaun hiding in the Children’s sections and win a prize from his treasure chest!
  • March 23 through April 4 – Find Peter the Rabbit hiding in the Children’s sections to win a prize.
  • Tuesdays in March from 3 to 4 pm – Activity Corner – Ages 8 and up will enjoy snacks, games, and fun activities after school. The March 17 Activity Corner will be a Lego Club Meeting. There will be no Activity Corner on March 24 or 31.
  • Wednesdays in March at 9 am – Yes2Next – Light cardio and strength training for older adults following a video. Registration is required and must be made by calling the library. There will be no Yes2Next on March 25.
  • Fridays in March at 9 am – Chair Yoga – Yoga for older adults and those with mobility issues following a DVD. Registration is required and must be made by calling the library. There will be no Chair Yoga on March 13.
  • Wednesday, March 4 at 2 pm – Canvas Magnet Painting – Ages 17 and up can make beautiful hand-painted magnets for their refrigerator. Registration is required.
  • Thursday, March 5 at 11 am – Cat Storytime for ages 2 to 6 with an adult – Bring your toddler for stories about cats, cat-themed crafts, and playtime.
  • Monday, March 9 at 6 pm – Wooden Shamrock Painting – Ages 4 and up can paint a wooden shamrock for St. Patrick’s Day in any style you choose. Registration is required.
  • Saturday, March 14 from 11 am to 12:30 pm – Pokémon Club – Trainers ages 8 and up can read Pokémon books, watch a Pokémon movie, and complete fun activities. Bring your own games and cards to trade and play!
  • Monday, March 16 from 12 to 6 pm – Card Playing Day – Ages 18 and up are welcome to enjoy spending time with friends and playing card games.
  • Tuesday, March 17 from 3 to 4 pm – Lego Club – Ages 8 and up can create their own Lego masterpieces and enjoy snacks after school.
  • Thursday, March 19 at 11 am – Weather Storytime for ages 2 to 6 with an adult – Bring your toddler to hear stories about the weather, make weather-themed crafts, and play with friends.
  • Monday, March 23 from 1 to 7 pm – Easter Crafts – A variety of Easter-themed crafts will be available for crafters of all ages to enjoy!
  • Tuesday, March 24 from 11 am to 4 pm – Sand Art – All ages can come and make their own unique sand art bottle!
  • Friday, March 27 from 11 am to 3 pm – Open Play for all ages – Enjoy a wide variety of building toys in the library’s community room!
  • Monday, March 31 at 6:30 pm – End of the Month Book Club – This month the club will be discussing The Widower’s Tale by Julie Glass. Pick up a copy at the front desk and join the discussion. New members are always welcome!

Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all Dubois Branch Library events.

The Dubois Branch Library’s hours are Monday and Wednesday, 10 AM to 8 PM, Tuesday and Thursday, 10 AM to 6 PM, Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM to 2 PM.
