VITA Free Tax Assistance Available in Spencer and Warrick Counties

United Way Southwestern Indiana is reminding Hoosiers they are offering free volunteer income tax assistance (VITA) at multiple locations.

Individuals whose household income in 2025 was below $67,000 can have their taxes filed for free through this VITA program. Scheduling an appointment is required and can be made using their website or scanning the QR code on the flier above.

In the local area, the locations offering these services and the times they are open are:

• Tri-Cap Boonville – located at 499 West Route 62 in Boonville
  • On Tuesdays from February 3rd through April 14th – 1 PM to 4 PM

• Spencer County Public Library – located at 210 Walnut Street in Rockport
  • On Thursdays from February 5th through April 9th – 5 PM to 8 PM
