The Dubois County Recorder’s Office is launching a new program designed to thank local veterans with discounts and incentives at participating businesses across the community.
Dubois County Recorder Jackie McPherron announced the new Honor Rewards program, created in partnership with Fidlar Technologies. The free service allows veterans to sign up for an Honor Rewards card that can be used at participating retailers throughout Dubois County.
According to the Recorder’s Office, the program is being offered at no cost to the county or taxpayers.
Veterans can enroll online by visiting www.honorrewards.com, selecting Dubois County, and completing the registration form. Sign-ups are also available in person at the Recorder’s Office inside the Dubois County Courthouse during regular business hours. After registering, veterans can expect to receive their Honor Rewards card in the mail within one to two weeks.
Local businesses are also encouraged to take part in the program. Companies can sign up through the Business Sign-Up link at honorrewards.com or by contacting the Recorder’s Office directly. Participating businesses will be listed on the Honor Rewards website for Dubois County, included in materials provided to cardholders, and featured in mailings to members. The Recorder’s Office will also supply marketing materials such as door stickers and flyers to help promote participation.
To officially launch the program, McPherron and Deputy Recorder Tammy Guth will host a sign-up booth on March 5 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Dubois County Annex on the square in Jasper.
