The Jasper Chamber of Commerce is inviting area business leaders to an upcoming Lunch and Learn focused on improving employee retention through relational trust.

The event, titled “Relational Intelligence: The Missing Link in Employee Retention,” will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Eastern. It is designed for executives, senior managers, team leaders, and HR decision-makers looking to strengthen workplace engagement and reduce turnover.

The session will be led by Shelly Meyer, owner of Elan Mind Body Solutions. Meyer will focus on how relational intelligence impacts employee trust, engagement, and long-term organizational success.

Participants will learn why relational trust plays a critical role in retention, explore the hidden costs of low engagement and high turnover, and gain practical leadership strategies that can be applied immediately. Attendees will also receive a leadership self-assessment, practical relational tools, and insights tailored to executive-level decision-making.

Meyer, who founded her business in 2015, brings extensive experience in the mind-body connection, helping individuals better understand behavioral patterns, emotional responses, and communication strategies. Her work centers on how personal experiences and thought patterns influence identity, physiology, and workplace behavior.

The event will take place at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce, with a cost of $20 per person. Lunch will be provided. Those interested are asked to RSVP by April 15. You can RSVP at shelly@elanmindbodysolutions.com
