William J. “Bill” Tarrant, age 77, of Santa Claus, passed away at 11:56 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper. 

He was born August 28,1948, to Samuel J. and Mary Rose (Pfeiffer) Tarrant. 

He is survived by his wife, Beth Tarrant; and two sons, Andrew (Melanie) Tarrant and Patrick (Melissa) Tarrant.
