The Lincoln Amphitheatre will kick off its 2026 Spencer County Community Foundation & Perry County Community Foundation Performance Series with a full weekend of live music featuring the return of Johnny Folsom 4 beginning Saturday, May 16, with special guest HonkyTonk Deluxe and continuing Sunday, May 17, with a special Amp Unplugged matinee performance.

Tickets remain available for both performances.

The 2026 season officially opens Saturday evening with HonkyTonk Deluxe taking the Kyana Woodstock Performance Stage at 6:30 p.m., followed by Johnny Folsom 4 at 7:30 p.m. VIP doors open at 5 p.m., while doors for all other ticket holders open at 5:30 p.m. All times are Central.

Known for recreating the unmistakable sound and spirit of Johnny Cash, Johnny Folsom 4 performs classics including “A Boy Named Sue” and “Ring of Fire.” Lead singer David Burney’s Southern baritone channels Cash’s iconic style alongside bandmates David Gresham on guitar, Steve Eisenstadt on bass, and Randy Benefield on drums.

“After kicking off our 2023 season with a truly unforgettable evening, Johnny Folsom 4 returns to the Lincoln Amphitheatre for not only one incomparable celebration of the legendary Man in Black, but a second matinee option on Sunday, as well,” said Marc Steczyk, the amphitheatre’s director. “What a great way to get 2026 launched and we can’t wait to open our doors for another fantastic season.”

For fans seeking an earlier and more relaxed concert experience, Johnny Folsom 4 will return Sunday, May 17, for a special Amp Unplugged matinee performance. The series is designed for guests who enjoy live music in a quieter atmosphere with smaller crowds and daytime scheduling.
