Carol M. Pfister, age 64, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 8:05 p.m. on Sunday (May 29, 2016) at home.

Carol PfisterCarol was born in Jasper, Indiana, on August 21, 1951, to Raymond and Clarissa (Burke) Hochgesang. She married John L. Pfister on July 14, 1973, in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 30, 2011.

Carol was president and co-owner of Dubois County LP Gas for 39 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper and the Jasper High School Class of 1969.

She was an avid I.U. basketball fan. She enjoyed playing Dominos with friends, traveling and spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.

Funeral services for Carol M. Pfister will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (June 3, 2016) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment to follow in the Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, (June 2, 2016), at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. St. Joseph’s Parish will pray a rosary at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dubois County Leukemia Society, Gentiva Hospice or to a favorite charity.
