A Huntingburg man who was found to be destroying personal property at a Huntingburg residence Sunday afternoon was taken into custody on a pair of charges.

Shortly after 3 pm yesterday an officer with the Huntingburg Police Department was called to a home along the 2000 block of Erin Court in reference to a male subject who was destroying personal items inside the residence and refusing to leave.

Police say when they arrived they noticed house hold trash scattered in the driveway. When they made contact with the man Aaron Stutsman of Huntingburg, he was asked several times by authorities to calm down and lower his voice.

Police say that subsequently lead to Stutsman’s arrest for disorderly conduct.  They say after he was arrested, Stutsman became aggressive and resisted arrest for which he was also charged.

Police booked Stutsman in the Dubois County Security Center on the two charges.
