Neoma B. Sander, age 85 of Newburgh, Indiana and formerly of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 4:55 p.m. Saturday, (December 19, 2015) at the Newburgh Health Care, in Newburgh, Indiana.
She was born in Celestine, Indiana on March 3, 1930 to Bernard and Theresia (Schroering) Kluesner. She married Richard A. Sander on October 17, 1953. He preceded her in death onFebruary 11, 1991.
Neoma retired from Holy Family School where she worked in the Cafeteria for many years.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Blessed Virgin Sodality, American Legion Post #147 and V.F.W. Post 673 Auxiliary’s in Jasper. She was a volunteer and member of the Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper and Northwood Retirement Community. She was an avid Quilter and Eucharistic Minister.

Also nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are two sisters, Adeline Fleck and Verena Egenolf and another sister Norma Jean who died in infancy.
Funeral services for Neoma Sander will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, (December 23, 2015), in Holy family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2 -8 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
Rosary will be held at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday by the Blessed Virgin Sodality and members of Holy family Parish at the funeral home.
