Bobby Risley, age 55, of Velpen, passed away at 12:40 p.m. (Central time), Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
He was born October 19, 1960, in Washington, Indiana to George Buford Hewitt and Rosetta Risley. Bobby was a factory and farm worker who enjoyed attending church services in both Velpen and Petersburg. He was never married and was preceded in death by his father, George Buford Hewitt; and his stepfather, Paul Sollman, who died December 8, 2015.

Funeral services for Bobby Risley will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove “Spraggins” Cemetery in Velpen. Pastor Lowell Thomas will officiate at the service.
