Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana recently announced the resignation of Theo Boots, president of Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana effective April 15th.

Under Boots’ leadership, the southwestern Indiana organization has grown 57% to reach over 26,000 students with a student market share of nearly 34% which is the 4th highest of 112 JA Areas in the country.

She, along with the JA team, have recently introduced the Innovation Challenge, Career Expo’s, and Dollars Make Sense.

Junior Acheivement Southwestern Indiana has received the Peak Performance Team Award for the past seven years. This award is presented to JA Area’s that have achieved the highest combined level of student growth, increased student market share and total revenue growth.

In 2012, Boots was awarded the Karl Flemke Pioneer Achievement Award given to one new outstanding JA Area president annually.

JA Board Chairman Jim Wittman says a President Selection Committee will begin the search for Boots’ successor immediately.
