The Huntingburg Chamber of Commerce has revealed plans for a month long promotion to help support downtown businesses along 4th Street affected by the construction of the city water-main project.

The Chamber wants the community to know that 4th Street and its businesses are open during this time and during the month of May, in order to encourage the community to continue supporting these businesses the Chamber will give $10 in Chamber Bucks to anyone who spends at least $50.

Purchases must be made now through May 31st at any 4th Street business between Geiger and Van Buren Streets. Also included is the specialty shop “Around the Corner” on Hwy 231.

consumers are asked to save receipts from businesses where they shopped. Once 50-dollars is spent, receipts can be submitted to the Chamber office and the consumer will receive their $10 in Chamber Bucks.

Chamber Bucks can be used at over 25 participating locations around Huntingburg and Dubois County.
