Tom J. Flinn, age 68 of Dubois, Indiana passed away at 2:08 p.m. CST Thursday, (June 30, 2016), in Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

Flinn, TomHe was born in Bloomington, Indiana on January 20, 1948 to Hurvey Earl and Oweeta (Pace) Flinn.  He married Mary Jane Kluesner on July 20. 1968 in St. Celestine Catholic Church.

 

Tom was a graduate of Bloomington High School South Class of 1966.

 

Tom was an avid mechanic, machinist and welder through his career and after retirement he enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, tractor shows,  metal working and spoiling his grandchildren.

Brother, Steven Flinn, Bloomington, IN

 

Six grandchildren, Cody, Tommy, Elijah, Tyler, Leeland and Aiyrah.

 

Preceding him in death is his father Hurvey Earl “Ick”  Flinn and one brother, Ronald Flinn and grandson, Keegan Harger both who died in infancy.

 

Funeral services for Tom Flinn will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, (July 5, 2016) in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery in Dubois.

 

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday, (July 4, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
