Officers with the Jasper Police Department are looking into an incident that took place Thursday morning where police say a person or persons smashed a window on a parked car and stole a purse from inside the vehicle.

Police say sometime between 8:45 am and 10 am Thursday morning the victim’s vehicle was parked on the 700 block of West 13th Street when an unknown person or persons shattered the front passenger-side window and grabbed a purse sitting in the vehicle.
