Jasper –According to a release, Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center announce, Pediatrician Krystle Hahus, M.D. was recently appointed to the active medical staff at the hospital. She will join Douglas Bies, M.D., Michael Ruff, M.D., and Kathirene Wilcoxen, M.D. at Jasper Pediatrics of Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Hahus received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed a pediatric residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield. She has participated in the Keep Kids in School campaign to provide health examination and immunizations to children and also helped locate a medical home for those needing preventative and comprehensive care. Along with such work, Dr. Hahus was also involved in a workshop for girls in grades 6-8 that provided contact with women who have chosen careers in the science fields. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Leonard, and daughter, Aubrey.
