Early voting kicks off today for those across the state who wish to cast their ballots ahead of time. The 2016 General election is set for Tuesday November 8th.

Early ballots may be cast beginning today and will continue up to and through Friday, November 4th at the at the Dubois County Courthouse from 8 am till 4 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and from 8 am till 6 pm on Wednesdays.

Folks may also vote on the the third floor of the courthouse from 8 am to 3 pm on Saturday October 29th and Saturday November 5th, and from 8 am till noon on Monday November 7th. Also an absentee voting site will also be located at the northside Jasper fire station located along 35th Street between10 am and 6 pm from Monday, October 31st through Friday November the 4th and between 8 am and noon on Saturday October the 29th and Saturday November 5th.

Absentee voting is also available at the Huntingburg Event Center, the Ferdinand Community Center and the Dubois Library between 8 am and noon on Saturday October 29th and Saturday, November 5th.
