Officials with the Jasper Municipal Gas Department announced that their office along with representatives from Utility Safety & Design Inc. of Olney, Ill., will be conducting an annual leak survey. The survey will begin on Monday, October 24th and continue through Thursday, November 10th.
Gas meters throughout the city will be inspected and personnel conducting the inspections will have identification in their possession.
