Officials with the Jasper Municipal Gas Department say they and representatives from Utility Safety & Design Inc. of Olney, Ill., began conducting an annual leak survey beginning today and will be continuing through Thursday November 10th.
They say gas meters throughout the city will be inspected and that those conducting the inspections will have identification in their possession.
