Donald W. Barrett, age 74, or Coe, passed away at 1:25 am on Saturday, November 20, 2016, at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg, IN.

He was born February 13, 1942, in Pike County, Indiana to Robert and Elsie (Bailey) Barrett; and was united in marriage to Sharon McKinney on November 24, 1962, in Spurgeon, IN. Donald was a retired Industrial Mechanic employed at Alcoa; member of Spurgeon General Baptist Church and the United Steelworkers Local 104 and former member of the UMWA. Donald enjoyed spending time with family, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and Indiana University basketball. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 infant sister, Roberta Barrett; 1 brother, Paul Barrett; and 2 infant twin great grandchildren, Tucker & Tillie Sims.

Funeral services for Donald W. Barrett will be held at 10:00 am, EST time, on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg, IN. Burial will take place in Spurgeon Cemetery in Spurgeon, IN. Reverend Marc Grimes will officiate the service.
