A Huntingburg man was placed under arrest Tuesday for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a female minor.

Back in July, Detective Sergeant Christian Gogel with the Huntingburg Police Department, along with the assistance of the Dubois County Department of Child and Family Services launched a Sexual Misconduct with a Minor investigation, from incidents that occurred back around April of this year.

Huntingburg Police had received a complaint from the Dubois County Department of Child Family services, concerning a 15 year old girl that was possibly having a sexual relationship with a 21 year old Male.

After completing his investigation, Gogel this past Monday filed for a Warrant for Arrest on 21-year old Christopher Orellana Correa, through the Dubois County Circuit Court.

The Arrest Warrant was granted and police took Correa into custoday Tuesday shortly before 12 noon at his place of employment.

After the warrant was served, Gogel spoke with Correa at the Huntingburg Police station for further investigation.

After the interview was completed, Correa was taken to and booked into the Dubois County Security Center in Jasper where he is being held on a $20,000.00 Cash only bond.

Correa was charged with Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a Level 4 Felony and a Class a Misdemeanor count of Invasion of Privacy.
