Kathleen (Catherine) H. Meyer, age 85, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away at 11:10 p.m. on Sunday (October 30, 2016) at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.

kathleen-meyerKathleen was born on August 1, 1931, in Ferdinand Indiana to Ben and Hilda (Jasper) Meyer.

She worked as a beautician in the Evansville area.

She graduated from St. Joseph Grade School in Jasper in 1946, the Academy of the Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand in 1950, and the Devry School of Cosmetology in Evansville in 1960.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Parish in Evansville, IN and a member of the Little Sisters of the Poor Auxiliary.

She enjoyed knitting and traveling.

Preceding her in death were brothers Monsignor Omer Meyer, Harold Meyer, James Meyer, Thomas Meyer and Kenneth Meyer.

Funeral services for Kathleen H. Meyer will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday (November 3, 2016) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service on Thursday (November 3, 2016) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
