Local municipalities as well as county offices and departments will have a number of closings to observe the Christmas and new years holidays in the next couple of weeks.
Jasper city buildings, including the street department and utilities office will be closed this Friday December 23rd, Monday, December 26th, Friday December 30th and Monday January 2nd.
Trash and recycling will either be picked up the day before or the day after. Collection days are tomorrow (Thursday), Dec. 22, Tuesday, Dec. 27, Thursday, Dec. 29 and Tuesday, Jan. 3.
The street department and resource recovery site will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 24, and Saturday, Dec. 31 .
Trash pickup not scheduled for a day the offices close will be on the regular schedule.
In the City of Huntingburg and the town of Ferdinand, all non emergency departments such as Huntingburg City Hall and the Ferdinand Town Hall as well as street departments will be close this Friday December 23rd, Monday the 26th and Monday January 2nd.
And all offices and non emergency departments for the County of Dubois including the Dubois County Courthouse and annex will be closed for the holiday observance December 23rd, 26th, 30 and January 2nd.
