An altercation at a fast food restaurant on Jasper’s south side Saturday evening lead to the arrest of a Jasper couple on a pair of charges.

Shortly after 8:30 pm Jasper Police were called to the south side McDonald’s in reference to a verbal altercation between 35-year old Jason Basham and 37-year old Sabina Ballou both of Jasper.

Management at McDonald’s told police that Ballou was asked to leave the resturant but refused to do so and police were able to determine that the altercation was only verbal.

Police also found that both Ballou and Basham had protective orders against each other.

Both were taken to and booked into the Dubois County Security Center on charges of Invasion of Privacy and Disorderly Conduct.
