Eileen D. Rogier, 63 of Saint Croix, died Friday February 17th at her home. She was born November 19, 1953 in St. Meinrad, In. to Alois C. & Hilda (Fischer) Vaeth. She married William “Bill” Rogier on May 2, 1986 in Monte Casino Church in St. Meinrad.

Eileen was a member of St. Augustine Parish in Leopold and a former member of St. Meinrad Parish. She was a member of St. Meinrad Legion Post 366 Auxillary. She volunteered at Catholic Charities in Tell City. Eileen enjoyed quilting, crochet, counter cross stitching, gardening and especially growing African Violets, and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Rogier. One daughter, Gwen (Sam) Bland of St. Croix, two grandsons, Colten & Cameron Bland. Three sisters, Estella Kreilein of Jasper, Rosalee Wieshan of Ferdinand, Mildred Fest (Cornelius) of Mariah Hill, a sister-in-law, Betty Vaeth of Ferdinand. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Jessica Lynn & Billie Jo Rogier, One sister Mary Ward, & One brother, Ignatious Vaeth.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday in St. Meinrad Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 PM CDT Monday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand, and after 9:00 AM CDT Tuesday at St. Meinrad Catholic Church. Online condolences at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
