Early Sunday morning Jasper Police Officers pulled over a Sienna Minivan which resulted in the arrest and a charge for possession of Hypodermic Syringes.

Around 4:30 am on Sunday morning Jasper Police Officers observed a Silver 2002 Toyota Sienna minivan traveling North on Mannheim Rd. Officers ran the plates on the van and found that the licences plate belonged to a different van and were expired.

A traffic stop was conducted in the North Town Dollar General parking lot. Police identified 3 male subjects traveling in the van. The police confirmed the plates were unlawfully placed on the Toyota Sienna and that the vehicle also did not have current insurance. The driver was cited for both infractions and released.

The Toyota was towed by Uebelhor wrecker service and inventoried prior to towing. The 3 passengers were asked if they were in possession of any illegal narcotics or contraband due to locating items used with drug consumption inside the van.

This lead to 27 year old Zachary Frame of Bloomington admitting to possessing 2 hypodermic syringes and a glass pipe. Frame was taken into custody and lodged at the Dubois Co. Security Center on charges of Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe a Level 6 Felony and Possession of Paraphernalia a Class B Misdemeanor.
