Five minutes after 1:00 AM this morning, Jasper Police Officers were in the area of Cobblestone Road in Jasper performing extra patrol in reference to numerous complaints of speeding vehicles and excessive noise.

An officer observed a 2008 White Ford “Cleaning America” Van, driven by Martin Dixon, fail to stop at a stop sign while travelling south bound on Cobblestone. The vehicle came to a stop at 1717 Cobblestone Rd where Dixon resided and it was determined that he had a License Status of Habitual Traffic Violator.

Dixon was taken into custody. Upon searching the vehicle incident to arrest, officers located synthetic cannabnoioids (K2/Spice) and paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center for the above charges. Dixon was also cited for Failing to Stop at a Stop Sign.
